Day 1: Arrival – Ho Chi Minh City
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, take a city tour to visit Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Municipal Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and China town with Binh Tay market and Thien Hau temple. Visit a hand embroidery workshop. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi – Ho Chi Minh City
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, transfer to Tay Ninh, the center of the Cao Dai religion. Visit Cao Dai Holy See for the daily noontide ceremony. Afternoon, drive to Cu Chi Underground Tunnels, which is famous with over 200-km-underground tunnels hand-dug by local people during the Vietnam War. You can test your marksmanship with an AK rifle at a local rifle range (optional with surcharge). Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh Long – Ho Chi Minh city (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, transfer to Cai Be to enjoy a boat cruise on Cai Be floating market. Visit local homes where the families produce the rice-paper kiln, coconut-candy kiln, and observe daily country life. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Nha Trang (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, free at leisure for shopping. Afternoon, transfer to the airport for the afternoon flight to Nha Trang. Arrive at Cam Ranh Airport. Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 5: Nha Trang (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, take a boat cruise to visit Tri Nguyen aquarium, Mun, and Tam Islet. Lunch on the islet. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang – Da Nang – Hoi An (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cam Ranh Airport for the morning flight to Da Nang. Arrive in Da Nang. Pick up and transfer to Hoi An. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, visit Hoi An ancient town with Japanese covered bridge, Phung Hung ancient house, temples, pagodas, communal houses, traditional shops, local markets and other places of interest. Afternoon relaxes on the beach or enjoys hotel facilities. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An – Da Nang – Hue (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, transfer to Danang to visit Cham Museum, Marble Mountain, Non Nuoc beach. Afternoon, transfer to Hue via Hai Van Pass and Lang Co pass en route. Arrive in Hue. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, visit Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market. Afternoon, take a boat along Huong river to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Hon Chen Temple. Visit Tomb of King Minh Mang. Overnight in Hue.
Day 10: Hue – Ha Noi – Ha Long (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the morning flight to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi. Pick up and transfer to Halong. On the way, visit Phu Lang ceramic village, Dong Giao wood-carving village and the folk-painting village of Dong Ho and But Thap Pagoda. Arrive in Ha Long City. Free at leisure. Overnight in Ha Long.
Day 11: Ha Long – Hai Phong (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, take a boat cruise to visit Halong. Enjoy the spectacular sight of magical grottoes, marvel at an odd-shaped island and relax in the best scenic beauty of Vietnam. Lunch of seafood is served while cruising. Afternoon, overland to Hai Phong via the Du Hang Pagoda and the Hang Kenh Communal House. Arrive in Hai Phong. Free at leisure. Overnight in Hai Phong.
Day 12: Hai Phong – Ninh Binh – Ha Noi (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Ninh Binh with a stop at Bai Dinh Pagoda. Take a sampan ride to Trang An, known as Vietnam’s “Inland Ha Long Bay”. Paddle through nine enormous caves. Then, visit the Dinh and Le dynasty temples in Hoa Lu, an ancient capital of Vietnam. Transfer back to Ha Noi. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 13: Ha Noi (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, visit Hochiminh Mausoleum & Museum (closed on Monday and Friday), One-Pillared Pagoda, house on stilts. Afternoon, visit Literature Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son temple and take a cyclo ride in the Old Quarters. Enjoy water puppet show. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 14: Ha Noi – Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure for relaxing or go shopping until transfer to the airport for the departure flight. End of service.
